I tend to hit up Pinterest a lot at holiday time because I love seeing how other people are decorating. The colors for this year seem to be a lot more traditional, as is the overall decor.
Red is back. I'm talking RED not just burgundy. It's been years, or decades since this color was mainstream. It appears to be the go to color for this season. It is being used a lot with white or just by itself.
Go for a natural green. Olive green is gone (finally). With all the red it is more popular to go with live (or convincing fake) evergreens. Use this on your trees and garlands. It's a more subtle way to do the classic green and red color scheme.
All white is the new trendy scheme. This was thee most popular color scheme for 2015 so it makes sense we'd see it at holiday time. It works with any wall color and looks beautiful with the gray tones that you probably have in your house if you're a Pinterest fan. This can go from modern to country depending on the theme you want to choose.
