Where Do You Keep the Trash Can?

It seems like a simple enough question that all of my guests ask. Where is the trash can? Of course it's underneath the sink. Isn't that where everyone keeps it? Then they make fun of how small it is because I just don't have enough room for even a normal kitchen container. I would love pull out waste containers so I would have enough room for a proper kitchen trash can and they look so nice too. I don't have floor space for one either outside of the cabinetry.
