Growing up all of the kids in my family were encouraged to play musical instruments. There was even talk about a family band at one point. There was a box full of instruments to choose from or we could join band or orchestra. The one instrument that I wish I still had? The ukulele. Why?
1. It's quiet enough to use in an apartment.
2. Some of my favorite indie artists play it.
3. It's easy to learn.
4. It's portable.
5. I wouldn't have to find a lot of storage space for it.
By now I could've upgraded to the best baritone ukulele. If I do buy another instrument this will be it because it's easy to learn and it doesn't hurt my fingers the way a guitar does.
