So Why Are You Going to Pawn It?

I'm always amazed at the many artifacts on Pawn Stars that end up at the shop for exactly the same reason. In some cases it might be a family heirloom, garage sale find, or childhood toy. However, men always get rid of it for the same reason "The wife or girlfriend didn't like it". This has even been said about cars or four wheelers. In fact it's the only consistent reason that's on the show. There is a thread to all of this randomness after all.
