So I was looking through the Halloween list at wikipedia like I do every year so I wasn't expecting to be surprised. However then I stumbled on the traditional food section. The only Halloween food I know is candy. I eat the candy and then move directly onto the next important event like picking out recycled Christmas cards. I guess one of the traditional foods in Ireland is called colcannon. It uses cabbage and potatoes. Umm I thought Halloween was supposed to be fun? I guess that traditionally it had small coins inside it for the day. Well that's one way to get the kids to eat their colcannon.
