I don't know if the TV told me that this fact or what show it was. I kind of remember that it was some house hunting show like "House Hunters". However, it could have just been a random fact. I did scribble it on a post-it note. I haven't really been able to find information on the Internet so it probably isn't true. Hopefully someone from Santa Barbara will actually be able to answer this one.
I wrote down that all of the houses in Santa Barbara have to be painted white. There was an ordinance or something. I can't really find the exact law. I've also looked at a lot of pictures and so far they all look like rows of white houses. Does anyone else knows this if this is true?
