How long is a jiffy?
I often say, "I'll be back in a jiffy." What I really mean is "This is going to take awhile so I can't put a concrete number on it but jiffy sounds relatively painless & will keep you from bugging me for a few minutes." Yes, my people skills are astounding. According to wikipedia a jiffy is .01 of a second. I am such a liar. Just don't tell anyone.

Jiffy being .01 of a second is just retarded. In my world? Jiffy means, "Whenever I'm good and ready."
