Awhile back I heard the trivia question "How did Alexander Graham Bell answer the telephone?" It was an interesting question, a person invents the telephone & then doesn't know exactly how to answer it. There was an myriad of options. You could say hello, good morning/afternoon/evening, Hi this is Alexander can I help you find the best buy on telephones today? According to the trivia show the answer is Ahoy Ahoy. That's how he answered the telephone. I no longer need to give out a fake telephone number if guys ask for it. I'll just answer the phone Ahoy Ahoy & they will run far far away. If it's good enough for Alexander Graham Bell it's good enough for me.

I actually say goofy things like, "Ahoy" if I know who it is. I often find out if someone is at their desk at work by typing "Ahoy thar" in instant message.
I'm a dolt. But I'm not boring to work with.
