Betta fish facts

When we think of fish as pets, we often envision an entire aquarium full of colorful fish that live in peace & harmony. When I was a little kid, I saw the betta fish & thought it was beautiful. (Betta fish are also known as Simaese fighting fish.)

I was then shocked to learn that I could only have one fish because bettas prefer to be alone. I've read up on the subject & some say that you can put bettas with a non aggressive fish, but not another beta. I probably wouldn't try it though.
