Not even spell check can help me now

Spelling has never been my specialty. I think Mark Twain said that it was a sign of intelligence to be able to spell a word in different ways. Maybe it was Mark Twain that said when you don't know where you heard something, attribute it to Mark Twain.

Luckily, I live in the age of spell check. However, it can only help so much. Sure it catches it when I misspell something like pocket watch or the word misspell. However, I was trying to find a plot summary for Dr. Zhivago so I didn't have to watch the last two hours of the movie. Plus, I wanted to know if the 1965 was filmed in Utah, or if Utah really looks that much like Russia. No such luck. I gave up after 15 minutes. I finally figured it out by looking in the TV guide but there don't seem to be any plot summaries for Dr. Zhivago. I also don't have nay random facts about the movie, or the book. I guess no one else could spell it either. What words can't the spell check help you with?

If you could cut & paste all of my blog entries into Word, you'd see so many red squiggly lines. It hates "ok" - wants it capitolized. It always wants to replace my "yah" with "yeah" which is a totally different word. And I'm constantly making up words like unificator or edumacationator and silly things like that. Yah, spell check hates me.

I think attributing things to Mark Twain is genius. Even if you made them up.
