The truth about cranberries
I tend to take things at face value. I'll look at a cabinent & think, "That's a cabinent" when it really has plasma lifts to make a TV magically appear. For years I thought that cranberries were berries. I was blissful in my ignorance, always drinking cranberry juice & eating dried cranberries.
Then one day I offered someone cranberry juice & they said "Ewww they grow cranberries in swamps". I said, "No silly, it's a berry. Actually cranberries grow on a low vine, & then they are harvested by flooding the bog. So it's not a swamp, it's a bog. Sorry for ruining Thanksgiving dinner but it was a random fact that I just couldn't keep to myself.
