I thought it was just my house

Every year before we can eat Thanksgiving dinner we go around the table & say what we are thankful for. The first person always says family. Everyone else always says whatever they see on the table that they really want to eat & is being withheld from them, such as pie. I don't know that we actually express gratitude, but it's a nice tradition. I was reading at wikipedia & it says:

In keeping with the holiday theme of giving thanks, during the socializing or meal, people talk about what they are thankful for or tell about experiences during the past year which have caused them to feel grateful.

Does everyone else's family say what they are grateful for at the dinner table? What are their answers?
