I was hoping for a Halloween fact that couldn't be traced back to "Mean Girls". So I looked up trick or treating. Apparently this relates to guising that takes place in Scotland & northern England.
There are some similarities such as costumes & it taking place on Halloween. However, in England the kids have to preform before they get a treat. I really like our version better. Apparently in Quebec the kids just say Halloween, which is much easier. Just give the kids candy already.
