Hee Hee

I'm not sure if this one was true because I just read it in a book & couldn't verify it online. However, it's a great story. I do know that:

Oliver Sacks is a neurologist. In fact, he was the Doctor who wrote/experienced a little book called "Awakenings".

Aphasia is a disease where people are unable to understand words.

The story goes that one day Oliver Sacks walked into a ward of Aphasia patients who were all laughing at the TV. Aphasia patients are often quite skilled at reading visual skills. What was on the TV? A politician's speech. They could tell from his tone of voice & body language that he was lying through his teeth. The result was that the politician looked like a baboon that was extremely comical.

That would explain my similar reaction to those speeches.
