It's all about orange

Little known fact, brown is actually deep orange. Whenever I tell someone that they look at me like I'm just making stuff up, which wouldn't be unusual for me. However, this one is true. I first learned about this on a decorating show, then wikipedia confirmed it by saying that brown is sometimes called "dark orange".

Still don't believe me? Open up a paint program, click on brown, then click on custom colors. Then lighten the color, what does it turn? Orange. As to why you should care, I still don't know. I do know that I'm always going to refer to brown as deep orange. I can't wait to talk to someone who works in real estate, "Yeah, I'm interested in buying that deep orange house". Oh, the fun I will have with this random fact.
