Putting Things in Order

I got my guitar out the other day and apparently it's something that you need to look at more than once a decade. I was so sad to see the state it was in. I always assumed that it was ok in it's case, just waiting for me to finally learn how to play. I was at a loss because some pieces were missing and I don't even know what they are called! I will need a guitar jack and new strings before I can ever start playing. It made me so sad to see it in that condition that I'll definitely do a better job of taking care of it.
