Random Christmas Tree Colors

When I was a kid I used to hate random colors for Christmas ornaments. Sure pink and purple were my favorite colors but they certainly didn't belong on a tree. I was all about a traditional red and green look. That has changed as I've gotten older. I have a gold Christmas tree because a green version didn't suit the area I live in. I'm in the desert and there isn't greenery around. For the last few years I've been decorating it with turquoise and gold. This year I put on all of the gold ornaments first and I loved it so much that I left it that way. What's the most random holiday color scheme that you've seen and did you like it?
