Pins That Never Work Out

I visit several different sites that test out Pinterest pins and there is always mixed results or there are suggestions for how to make it better. Oftentimes there was a substitution that was made that just wasn't as good as the original. There is a reason why it fails. However, other times there are pins that just don't seem to work for any of the pinners or at least a large number of them. I've noticed that a lot of the "dehydrate without a food dehydrator" posts rarely work whether it's in the oven or the microwave and especially if it's fruit. What have you noticed on Pinterest that often seems to only work in the original pin?
