What's The Color of the Year for 2013?

I like to shop and decorate so I'm always interested when Pantone releases its color of the year. I was betting that it would be a dark shade. I've been seeing tons of black in stores so I thought it would be a charcoal shade with a fancy name attached to it. The past few years have had pretty bright colors. Boy was I wrong. This year is emerald. I probably wouldn't wear a lot of this. I would love to use it outside with the best selection of garden figurines, Adirondack chairs, and ceramic garden stools. I think it will be much easier for most people to wear and enjoy as opposed to last year's tangerine tone. What do you think of the 2013 color of the year?
