Random Nail Polish Opinions

One thing that I've really been surprised at since looking on Pinterest is how much time people are willing to spend on their nails; as well as how much money they will spend too. Some of my favorite ideas create a marble or ombre technique. There are other hand painting techniques that almost look like intricate tiles. The only one I don't like is the idea of a "focal nail". I guess they are just ripping off the idea of a focal wall from decorating. It's where one nail is a totally different color. The ring finger seems to be a popular choice for this. Sometimes it will be in a pattern; I guess it helps to show off an engagement ring. Have you ever seen anyone with a focal nail in real life and what did you think?
