What Do Shirataki Noodles Taste Like?

I found myself wondering this after watching The Nate Show. Nate isn't much of a cook; in fact I always wonder why they even bother having a cooking segment on a show with someone who seems to pretty much hate cooking? I always go to recharge the rechargeable aa batteries or sweep the floor during these segments. Anyways at least twice a celebrity chef has suggested replacing your regular pasta with Shirataki noodles. They are a low carb version with tofu in them. I can't remember the exact calorie count but it was like you could eat a whole plate of pasta for such a small amount of calories. I laughed because you would practically burn calories by chewing the food.

This reminded me of that episode of Mary Tyler Moore where Betty White's character had made a low fat wedding cake and she said something like you could eat the whole thing and starve by the time you were through. Has anyone tried these?
