I like to cook, but only if it's pretty random as well as healthy. That's right, nothing I do is normal, even my food. I've had squash sitting on my counter for quite awhile because I never crave it. So I was looking around for recipes and came across some of the most random ideas that were actually edible.
Squash Tacos: I couldn't find the exact recipe I used and all the other versions I could find had way too many ingredients in it. However, just look it up on blackberry phones and find one with black beans in it. This was a vegetarian taco that I made initially just because it looked pretty but it soon became one of my favorites.
Squash Bread: I fell in love with pumpkin bread this last Thanksgiving so it seemed like a good substitute. I may actually buy squash now instead of having it given to me. Granted, it just tastes mostly like yummy bread, but it's one of the few painless ways I've come across to eat squash.
Does anyone else have recipes that should be disgusting but aren't?
