I came across this article on About featuring Mother's Day statistics and I just found it absolutely fascinating. I mean there are 82.5 million moms in our country. It's one of the biggest holidays for giving gifts, making long distance telephone calls and sending flowers. I bet the rate of people washing dishes in sinks who don't usually wash dishes also goes up. I always find it funny that it's always so busy at restaurants on this day. I guess it's simply because if it were me the conversation would go:
Me: Here mom, don't cook, I'll take care of you.
Mom: Ok. What are we going to eat?
Me: I love you too much to cook for you.
I guess that's probably why a lot of people end up going out to eat.
