Usually when I need to know something or wonder about something I just look it up on the internet. It's a good thing I don't have an iphone or I'd never get anything done, I'd always be googling celebrities from the 80's, apidexin reviews, and just tons of random facts. This has totally ruined the show Tudors because for every episode I spend at least that much time trying to find historical inaccuracies, drawing a mental family tree of people I am not related to, or just wondering "Did that really happen?"
The first time I saw a tree with purple flowers in my new town I thought "Ohhh, that's pretty, I wonder what that is." I asked around, I went and looked it up…nothing. The problem being that it's very hard to ask what something visual is in an information based society. It's not like I can just hold up my cell phone to my computer and say "Look, do you see this? What is this?" I've looked through all of the nurserys that sell to my area and have found many trees with purple flowers, but none of them are the tree. The sad part is that it doesn't really matter because it's not like I can plant them. Secondly, I already have them outside my apartment. So what random fact are you just craving but can't seem to get a hold of?
