I was looking at urban legends & was curious to see one about sewer alligators. The legend goes that pet baby crocodiles get flushed down the toilet & then they grow into big alligators in the sewer system & then come through people's toilets in New York City. Whenever this subject comes up, someone says "That really did happen to my neighbor", & I think "I need to get a computer rental, or encyclopedia or something."
First off: Who has baby pet alligators?
Secondly: Ok, so I don't have a secondly, I was just trying to refute this. Everything I read had numerous accounts of this story & said it could be true or maybe not. The alligators could also be something called caimans.
So what do you think, myth or fact? Either way, I'm glad I don't live in New York.

When I've watched movies along this line, I get very vexed with the idiots who flush live animals. But it was the movie with snakes coming out of the toilet (and a real-life experience of the same by my snake-rearing brother) that has made me check in the toilet EVERY SINGLE TIME I USE IT SINCE THEN!!!!
