There's been a lot of discussion about Disney movies having subliminal messages such as dirty words being written in the clouds in the Lion King. The Disney studio has always denied this, while several people claim to be able to find these hidden messages.
I was watching the show Myths & Legends, a Disney exec admitted there was one in Hunch Back of Notre Dame. Apparently, the people at Disney found this "urban legend" so amusing that they put one in the movie on purpose. Apparently, when the Hunchback looks down from the tower & you can see everyone in the town square, the Disney princesses are the townspeople, such as Belle & Jasmine. I've never seen the movie, so I don't know, but it would be cool if it was true.

Almost makes me want to go rent it. I've seen it before but never paid that close of attention.
Belle is in that scene for sure. I'm not sure about Jasmine. The animators thought it was funny to put Belle's village into the scene because both films take place in France. Belle is wearing her blue dress and reading a book in the scene from Hunchback.
Belle is def. in the scene. She is in the lower right hand corner reading but she walks out of the scene so she's only in it for about 3 seconds.
You can also see Pumba from the Lion king being carried on a tray in the same scene.
