I was surprised to find out a few years ago that Canada has a Thanksgiving as well. It seems like something that I should know about because I'm going to be the princess of Canada someday.
Martin Frobisher was an explorer in 1578 who gave thanks for surviving a long journey. In Canada, Thanksgiving is a three day holiday that falls on the second Monday in October. Although Thanksgiving is technically on Monday, apparently they can eat their big meal anytime throughout the three day weekend. This would take a lot of pressure off. Think about it, if you didn't feel like cooking or you had High School Musical tickets, you can decide to have the meal another day. Are there any Canadians out there who can tell me what the traditional Canadian Thanksgiving meal is like?

How can you not know about Canadians and Thanksgibing? We have the same things to eat as everybody else, turkey, gravy, sweet potatoes etc.
