I'm a People Person

I remember in a Dilbert book, there was a suggestion that really boring people should have book stands on their chins. That way, you can read while they recount their tales of what happened at the dry cleaners. We've all had conversations where we end up thinking "This person really needs a hobby like flying RC helicopters so they'll have better stories & won't talk for hours on end". I’ve found this to be an excellent conversation stopper “Man, I wish you were a book”. It's confusing, not exactly noninflammatory & gives me plenty of time to leave the room. What can I say? I’m a people person.
