Ok, so I don't think is the 17th conversation stopper, but I'm too lazy to go back & look. I'm sure I instilled a lot of confidence in my readers by admitting that. This is a conversation starter & a conversation stopper all at the same time. I love to have unique items around me like
jukeboxes, or those antique radios that are really CD players. This accomplishes the following:
1. Gives you something to talk about with someone you have nothing in common with. Pretty much everyone thinks they are cool.
2. Makes other people jealous without spending a lot of money. People will suddenly loathe their own CD players, & isn't that really the point of life?
3. When you want the conversation to be over, just turn up the music & act like nothing happened.
