Any makeover show will tell you that you can easily & inexpensively change your kitchen just by painting the cabinets. That is a lie. I've seen all those shows & thought "I could do that." That is also a lie. Yes, it's inexpensive, but it isn't easy. Paint drips. Sometimes the color is not pretty. Just so you know, not only can I not remember what day it is, neither can anyone around me. The kitchen is a black hole.
I've had numerous discussions about whether this classifies as an update, makeover, or remodel. Apparently each word has a strict definition. I suggest that you just find some tv deals & then watch all the pretty rooms on HGTV. Also, yelling "be pretty" at the kitchen cabinets doesn't work.
