Random facts about the movie Psycho

I just saw a brief ad for the classic Alfred Hitchcock movie Psycho on TCM. They shared a lot of random facts in about five seconds. Here are a few of the ones that I can remember:

• The classic shower scene only lasts about 40 seconds. However, they had to do 70 separate shots to get it & it took a week to film.

• It's black & white because Hitchcock thought it would be too gory in color.

• They used chocolate syrup to simulate blood.
