What will history remember?

I always wonder how history will remember my generation. We've heard so much about the $700 billion financial bail out that it's become all consuming. I just saw that a compromise was reached. Now it will be presented to the Bush administration. I really don't know if history will remember this day, but right now it feels monumental. What do you think will be in history books about our generation?
