Random facts about the moon

Pretty much everything I can remember about science came from a Tom Hanks movie. I know that stars & moons look really cute on crib bedding, but I've forgotten most of the stuff I learned in school. Here a few random facts about the moon that I have translated into easy to understand Sarakastic-ese:
  • Makes a complete orbit around the Earth every 27.3 days.
  • The distance from the earth to the moon is about thirty times the diameter of the Earth.
  • Only celestial body that humans have landed on.
  • Doesn't have a proper name in English besides the Moon.
  • Pretty much keeps it's same face towards Earth all the time.
