Do monkeys fall in love?

I'm watching Romeo & Juliet: A Monkey's Tale on Animal Planet. I thought it would be a fun story to end the work week while I shop for office supplies. It's the tale of two monkeys in Thailand who come from warring factions who fall in love. I'm having a lot of trouble discerning what is true or not because it's narrated by Tybalt. It's a little cheesy. At one point fireworks go off while monkeys hold hands. However, it raises the question, do monkeys fall in love?
