Random Connections

I was recently in someone's home who had all of their military achievements displayed and it instantly taught me a lot about that person. It sparked a conversation that we probably wouldn't have had otherwise because I wouldn't have known of their service. It instantly inspired a lot of respect for that person and I felt like I had a lot to learn from them. It made me think about giving Joy Jewelers military jewelry as a gift so these brave men and women get to share their experiences more often than on just Veterans day. That way it would make easier to thank them every day as they deserve to be thanked.

This is just your friendly reminder that tomorrow is Valentine's Day. If you're reading this on the 14th then it's today. If your significant other is giving you the side eye then hurry up and come up with a plan. While some people claim that it's not important I've yet to hear about anyone who gets upset that their significant other celebrated it or remembered.

That's a Thing?

I've been watching a lot of Piano Guys videos lately. Even though I played in orchestra when I was a kid I'm not familar with the electric cello. It must not have been around when I was buying an instrument or I would've bought one. I just love how cool it looks and sounds. It's like a cross between rock and roll and orchestra. Plus, it just looks a lot easier to carry around. If I was going to pick up a new instrument this would probably be it. Until then I'll just have to keep watching videos. Did everyone else know about the electric cello or was it just me?
