Bounty Paper Towel Test

I've always been somewhat fascinated by Bounty paper towel commercials. Granted, I've always bought Brawny just because well there's a lumberjack on the front. That's good enough for me. Bounty was on sale so I was wondering if the commercials are really true. Well, I didn't exactly set out to test it. I usually use paper towels under bacon that I gourmetly (hey it could be a word) cook in the microwave. I know I need to switch to turkey bacon or I'll be looking for diet pills soon.

Also buying watermelon is a random life lesson. Somehow I'm 27 & I've never had to buy and cut up a watermelon before. It is no longer my favorite food. So I grabbed a Bounty paper towel. It worked better than say the off brand no name generic paper towel but by no means could I clean up an entire mess or wring it out and still have a usable paper towel form. Granted, I've never been in this quandary with Brawny because of the distracting lumberjack.
